Artist Statement

My work weaves through figurative, realistic and graphic styles with themes entering

around thought, manifestation, metaphysics, maturing, community building and

permanence. My art is a reflection of my life and times. As I strive to continue

through my journey to my artistic ultimate self, I have found myself in a pool in a sea

of “creatives” in the south. “Create, Creator” takes a deeper dive in to the

perspective and musings for the emergent artist. In this work I will ‘paint’ my

subjects in their own words as they discuss with me, their passage through the

creative realm.
